If you want to succeed as an agent then you must have to be very good at your communication skills. The most important factor in developing any relationship is the communication skills of any person, this you can do by getting the proper information about any client. You should develop an excel sheet as your record for every client and then you must call them at least once in month and send them greeting cards on the eve of any festival. These are small things that count a lot in having a better relation.
When you communicate with your client through your, email, phone or letter you must consider his interests and tells him the things in which he is interested. When you are dealing with any of your regular client then take some extra care because it is difficult to make new clients then to retain the existing ones so make sure your existing clients remain satisfied with your services.
Before doing all this, the most important thing is that you have to make a communication plan for your clients. And make sure that when a communication plan is in place then you must have to manage the clients relationship very actively otherwise there is no use of that communication plan.
